The air is cold and you can almost "smell" the snow. Our mountains are covered with a heavy blanket of snow. Those who love the snow have everything their hearts desire on the Krippenstein. Whether you are a downhil skier, love skiing off-piste or venturing out in your snow shoes, the Freesports Arena Dachstein Krippenstein is the place to be. The warm mountain huts are welcoming places to rest and enjoy refreshments. Beginner or professional, the Krippenstein has plenty to offer you. Down in the valley there is a beautiful cross country ski trail which begins by the lake and passes through the Koppenwinkel Nature Preservation Area.

The nearest airport is Salzburg. Flights also available to Linz.
