The Roman Catholic parish church of Gosau is located in the centre of the municipality of Gosau in the district of Gmunden in Upper Austria. It is dedicated to Saint Sebastian and belongs to the pastoral care room of Bad Goisern in the deanery of Bad Ischl. The church is a listed building.

Already around the year 1231 a wooden chapel, which belonged to the mother parish Abtenau, stood in the district "Kirchschlag". Today's parish of Gosau at Dachstein was founded in 1500. The present church was rebuilt between 1500 and 1507. This Sebastianskirche belongs beside the Sebastian's altar in the parish church Hallstatt to the oldest proofs of the Sebastian's cult in Austria.

The nave has one nave and four bays. The choir closes with a 5/8 close. Above the nave and choir there is a Gothic net-ribbed vault. The north tower has a pointed helmet. The Gothic west portal is decorated by three primitive plastic heads.

The furnishings are mostly neo-Gothic. On the baroque high altar stands a baroque figure of Saint Sebastian from the second quarter of the 18th century.
