What is the World Heritage Activity Project?

Have you ever thought about organising a school trip to the World Heritage Region Dachstein Salzkammergut or perhaps considered a school project in the area?

We offer the perfect programme from the areas of culture, landscape, sport and outdoor, history or geology. Immerse yourself in the world of Dachstein, salt, mountains and lakes in one of the four World Heritage Sites Bad Goisern at Lake Hallstatt, Gosau at Dachstein, Hallstatt and Obertraun.

Our aim is to work together with you under the motto "no heritage without children" to bring our World Heritage Region closer to the pubils. With the World Heritage Active offer, the Holiday Region Dachstein Salzkammergut challenges and encourages young people to get to know a World Heritage town in Europe. This invites them to exercise in nature as wel as to reflect.

All from one source

You are probably familiar with the numerous preparations in the run-up to school class trips or project days. Long research, endless phone calls and a pile of price lists. The Holiday Region Dachstein Salzkammergut saves you this with the special service for planning and organizing your class trip. You do not need to take any cash with you and after your stay you will receive a complete, student-specific final invoice.

A one-stop service

Our project manager Petra Wallner is at your side with all her knowledge! She will be there for you to answer your questions about the region and to compile your program, in advance and during your stay.

Of course, she will also help you find suitable accommodation for you and your students in the region.
