Salzkammergut Winter Card
If you are staying in the region for 3 nights or more, simply call at one of our tourist information offices in Bad Goisern, Gosau, Hallstatt or Obertraun and pick up your card for free!
It’s that simple...
You will have completed a guest registration form when you checked in at your accommodation. Present this at one of the tourist offices within the Dachstein Salzkammergut Holiday Region. If your stay is for three nights or longer, you will receive your card free of charge. This will entitle you to unbeatable discounts for admission to numerous attractions throughout the whole of the Salzkammergut.
This advantage card saves you up to 25% discount on admission to visitor attractions and places of interest as well as other highlights throughout the entire Salzkammergut.
The card is valid for the duration of your stay in the Salzkammergut.
Advantages for our guests
The card is complimentary for guests who are staying in the Dachstein Salzkammergut Holiday Region for 3 nights or more. Upon presentation of the Winter Card you will receive discounts of up to 25 % on admission to cable cars, caves, boat trips, open air swimming pools, museums and numerous other attractions and highlights throughout the Salzkammergut.
Validity
The Salzkammergut Winter Card is valid from 1st November to 30th April. Guests can take advantage of the discounts for the duration of their stay in the Salzkammergut. The card is valid for 21 days from the date of issue.
Residents and second home owners
The Salzkammergut Discount Card is also available to local people, second home owners and guests staying for less than three nights. The cost is € 4.90 per card.
Children
Children under age 15 do not need their own card. They are still entitled to the price discounts as long as they are accompanied by an older child or adult in possession of a discount card. Companies and attractions offering reduced price admission for children are indicated in the Salzkammergut Experience Card brochure by a family symbol.
Further information on the card
The discount card is valid only for the named person, and is non transferable. It is valid only when the details on the reverse side of the card have been completed.
