Figures and legends trail in Bad Goisern

You are accompanied, all along this trail, by mystical figures carved from tree trunks. There are display boards with magical stories and legends from long, long ago.

When you reach the „Lindwurm-Loch“, you can follow the „Höhenweg“ trail for a further 100m as it passes through the „Ewinger Wand“  and enjoy the beautiful views across the valley of Bad Goisern.

The following photo gallery can be navigated with the arrow keys (left, right).

An overview of the tales to download (.pdf)

It’s well-worth stopping off  for refreshments at the Rathlucka hut (only in german) owned by the Gschwandtner  Family, at the start of the trail!

You do not need walking boots for this trail which is also suitable for children. The trail is also open in winter if there is not too much snow.
