Day 1 - Individual arrival in the Ausseer Land
Arrival to your mountain bike holiday in the Salzkammergut. Hotel example: Hotel Erzherzog Johann in Bad Aussee

Day 2 - From Ausseer Land to Gröbming, approx. 70 km, 1,300 metres altitude
Ausseer Land - Tauplitz - Wörschach - Trautenfels - Gröbming. You start the 1st stage of your mountain bike tour in Ausserland. Past the Kulm, the largest natural ski jump in the world, the MTB route leads to Tauplitz. Through the Alte Klachau, you cycle leisurely through Wörschachwald forest, past the Spechtensee lake to Wörschach. From here, you follow the well-developed Enns cycle path (R7) to Trautenfels, whose castle of the same name with the mighty Grimming in the background offers an impressive sight. You continue your MTB tour in the Salzkammergut with a mini climb up the Bleiberg (tarmac) and along a gravelled forest path towards Gritschenberg. Here you then head downhill along the tarmac road past the ostrich farm via the R7 and a side road to Öblarn. You reach Gröbming on the left bank of the Enns. Day 3 - From Gröbming to Filzmoos, approx. 45 km, 800 metres altitude
Gröbming - Schladming - Ramsau - Filzmoos. On the second morning, you start your MTB tour in Styria from Gröbming along the Enns river on a dirt track to Pruggern. Once again, the Enns cycle path accompanies your mountain bike tour as far as Assach and on to Aich. After Lehen, take the road up to the Birnberg. The marvellous panorama of the Schladminger Tauern accompanies you on the MTB tour to the village of Birnberg. Now continue over the Strimitzen towards Schladming and along the serpentine road towards Kulm. Via Kulm and Ramsau you reach the steadily ascending gravel road to Filzmoos. Day 4 - From Filzmoos to Gosau, approx. 50 km, 1,100 m
Filzmoos - Annaberg - Russbach - Gosau. The 3rd stage of your MTB holiday in SalzburgerLand begins with a gentle climb along the asphalt road to the Marcheggsattel. Once you have reached the top, follow it past a quarry and beautiful viewpoints. The next striking point on your MTB tour is the Langeggsattel, which offers a view of the Gosaukamm with the Bischofsmütze on the right. First you roll comfortably downhill again into Neubachtal and then mountain bike uphill along the forest path to Dürrmoosbauer. Follow the forest road and the Dolomitenhof out of the valley to the main road. Follow this road to Leitenhaus and then along the Lammer. Soon you will have to pedal hard again, as the MTB route leads uphill towards Russbach. Here you climb to the top of the pass on the old Pass Gschütt road during your MTB holiday in the Lammertal. From Pass Gschütt-Höhe, take the forest road and the Iglmoos circuit on a leisurely ride downhill to Gosau. Hotel example: Landhaus Koller in Gosau

Day 5 - Gosau-Ausseer Land, approx. 45 km, 500 m elevation gain, individual journey home
Gosau - Lake Hallstatt - Obertraun - Bad Aussee - Bad Mitterndorf. This morning you get into the saddle for the last stage of your mountain bike holiday in the Salzkammergut. Passing the Vitalhotel Gosau, the MTB route takes you up a climb via the Gosaubach stream. Via a forest road and the fish pond, you reach the B 166. Now you are in for a rapid descent. Give your mountain bike a good whirl and you're already in Bad Goisern. The impressive Lake Hallstatt welcomes you here. Cycle comfortably along gravel roads along the eastern shore to Obertraun. The route of the Dachstein e-bike tour takes you via the Koppenwinkelsee nature reserve and along the Koppentraun river to the Koppenbrüller cave (visit possible). A final crisp climb on the mountain bike tour in the Salzkammergut to the Koppenpass is just around the corner. Thanks to the e-bike, this is easy to master and you will soon have reached the border between Upper Austria and Styria. Luggage return by 5.30 pm at the latest
