It can be reached via hiking trails 511 and 644 and further via the W11. By car from Salzburg:** Highway exit Golling - Abtenau, Rußbach, Gosau Gosau: after the Pass Gschütt junction, turn right onto the Gosausee Landstraße, after approx. 2 km you will reach the parking lot at the Hornspitzlift. **from Linz:** Regau highway exit - Gmunden, Bad Ischl, Bad Goisern, Gosau Gosau: at the Pass Gschütt junction, drive straight ahead onto the Gosausee Landstraße, after approx. 2 km you will reach the parking lot at the Hornspitzlift. **from Vienna/Graz:** Liezen highway exit onto B320, in Trautenfels turn onto Salzkammergut Straße B145 to Bad Aussee, continue on the B145 towards Bad Goisern, take the B166 ramp to Golling/Gosau/Obertraun/Hallstatt/Bad Goisern-Süd, turn right at the Gosaumühle junction towards Gosau Gosau: at the Pass Gschütt junction, drive straight ahead onto the Gosausee Landstraße, after approx. 2 km you will reach the parking lot at the Hornspitzlift. **from Villach:** Tauernautobahn to exit "Eben im Pongau", via B166 Pass Gschütt Bundesstraße to Gosau Gosau: after the Pass Gschütt junction, turn right onto the Gosausee Landstraße, after approx. 2 km you will reach the parking lot at the Hornspitzlift. **By train** Route Attnang-Puchheim - Stainach-Irdning Arrival by train in "Steeg / Gosau" then continue by bus 541 in the direction of Gosaumühle, change to bus 542 in the direction of Gosausee **By bus (Sundays irregular):** Bus 470 (Abtenau - Gosau) direction Gosau, bus stop Gosau Abzw.
