Description: **The Theodor-Körner-Hütte is closed from the beginning of October to the end of May!**
**The Theodor-Körner-hut is a popular destination for hikers and mountainbikers at the Gosaukamm.**
Place of serenity

The Theodor Körner Hut, or Körner - Hütte for short, built in **1922** in the face of the mighty **Bischofsmütze**, is the ideal starting point for numerous activities: from **hikes** around the **Gosaukamm** ridge to **via ferratas** and climbing to summit ascents of the famous Bischofsmütze and its neighbouring peaks. Because it is so easy to reach, it is a popular destination for hikers seeking tranquillity and day trippers from **Annaberg-Lungötz**, about **90 minutes** away, and the surrounding villages.
From **Gosau** you can reach the hut from the Zwieselam in about **2.5 hours**. On your way around the Gosaukamm you will pass by the hut and can enjoy the good regional cuisine and delicious **homemade pastries** on the sun **terrace** with a view of the surrounding mountains.

Motorway exit Golling via B162 Abtenau and B166 to Gosau
**from Linz:**
Motorway exit Regau on Salzkammergut street B145 towards Gmunden and Bad Ischl to Bad Goisern, in Bad Goisern turn right onto B166, at the Gosaumühle junction turn right towards Gosau
**from Vienna/Graz:**
Motorway exit Liezen on the B320, in Trautenfels turn on Salzkammergut street B145 to Bad Aussee, turn on Koppen street through Obertraun and Hallstatt, at the Gosaumühle junction turn left towards Gosau
**from Villach:**
Tauern motorway to exit “Eben im Pongau”, via the B166 Pass Gschütt federal road to Gosau
