Here in the unspoilt Gosau valley, in the middle of the beautiful mountains and surrounded by nature, you will find the Ulmenhof.

Welcome to the Ulmenhof

We are pleased to welcome you in our freshly renovated, young flat house since 2015.

Modern lightness, bright rooms with high ceilings, free Wi-Fi and a private parking space, new bathrooms and new kitchens await you in our house.

Shopping facilities are within walking distance and the bus stop is also close to our house.

In summer, hikes and mountain bike tours can be started directly from the house. The nearby towns of Hallstatt, Bad Goisern and Obertraun can also be reached by car within 30 minutes. Our tip: be sure to visit the Salt Mine in Hallstatt and the Giant Ice Cave on the Krippenstein in Obertraun.

In winter, the Dachstein West ski area awaits you with 160km of prepared slopes and a beautiful view of the Dachstein mountains. The skiing area can be reached within a few minutes by car or you can use the free ski bus directly in front of the house. The cross-country skiing trails are only a few minutes' walk away and stretch through the entire Gosau valley.

From Salzburg:
Motorway exit Golling - Abtenau - Russbach - Gosau.
Gosau: after the Pass - Gschütt junction turn left onto the B166, after approx. 300m you will reach the Ulmenhof on the left-hand side.

from Linz:
Motorway exit Regau - Gmunden - Bad Ischl - Bad Goisern - Gosau
Gosau: in the centre of Gosau you will find the Ulmenhof opposite the Gosau municipal office.

from Vienna/Graz:
Motorway exit Liezen on the B320, in Trautenfels turn on Salzkammergut street B145 to Bad Aussee, turn on Koppen street through Obertraun and Hallstatt, at the Gosaumühle junction turn left towards Gosau
Gosau: in the centre of Gosau you will find the Ulmenhof opposite the Gosau municipal office.

from Villach:
Tauern motorway to exit “Eben im Pongau”, via the B166 Pass Gschütt federal road to Gosau
Gosau: after the Pass - Gschütt junction turn left onto the B166, after approx. 300m you will reach the Ulmenhof on the left-hand side.

Arrival by train in "Steeg / Gosau" then continue with bus 541/542 in the direction Gosausee

By bus (irregularly on Sundays):
Bus 470 (Abtenau - Gosau) direction Gosau, stop Gosau Abzw. Pass Gschütt,
walk in the direction of the ADEG supermarket. After approx. 350m you will reach the Ulmenhof on the left-hand side.

Bus 541/542 (Bad Ischl - Gosausee) direction Gosausee, stops Haltestelle: Gosau Klaushof, Gosau Bärnausiedlung, Gosau Ressenbachweg, Gosau Vordertal B166, Gosau Ramsau B166, Gosau, Gemeindeamt,
walk about 70m back. The Ulmenhof is on the left-hand side.
