Enjoy beautiful hours at the brook and look forward to great catches in a breathtaking landscape.** Good Luck for fishing in Gosau ------------------------------ The **Gosaubach** is an outflow of the **[Lake Gosau](https://dachstein.salzkammergut.at/en/austria/poi/201041/lake-gosau.html)** and flows **8 km** through the beautiful **[Gosau valley](https://dachstein.salzkammergut.at/en/villages-lakes-more/gosau.html)**, starting at the **Gosau reservoir**, ending at the **reservoirs at the Klaushof** (**[trout pond](https://dachstein.salzkammergut.at/en/austria/poi/430008395/trout-pond-gosau.html)**). The streambed is reserved for **[fly-fishing](https://dachstein.salzkammergut.at/en/detail/article/3693-sport-and-fly-fishing-1.html)**. The varied course of this mountain stream makes it a special challenge for every fisherman. Rapidly flowing water stretches with block and stone throws are followed by quiet spots with gravel and gravel banks.
