More than 100 years ago on hot summer days at the so-called **"Sommerfrische-period"** people were looking for ideal refreshment. This bathing opportunity near the center of Bad Goisern is located directly at the "Goisererbrücke" (bridge) on the right bank of the river and is used for relaxing and cooling in the refreshing river water. At the end of an extended hiking- or cycling tour here you can either enjoy the pleasant water, or you can just let your mind wander. This public and free bathing area with its 1.500 m² sunbathing lawn has been revitalized by the Marktgemeinde Bad Goisern and in 2021 with eight new trees planted. Directly at the bathing area you can find a small changing-room, a fireplace, several benches and a mobile toilet. Also there is a small parking possibility for a maximum of 5 cars and bike racks on side.
