**Shortly before 1770, the manorial Wildenstein had their new office building built here in contemporary style (hence "Schloß Neuwildenstein").**
Until today, the forest administration for the area Salzkammergut is located here.

In 2008 the rear wing was completely rebuilt for "Landesausstellung".
The building houses the **Hand.Werk.Haus. Salzkammergut and** the **optician Pamminger.**
Snacks, Drinks an local music is provided by **Werkstattbeisl**.
During the summer months, **numerous events** take place in the **historic courtyard**.
