Holidays in the house Sams

Our house is situated in a calm position at the outskirt of Gosau and we have four rooms with a shower and a toilette.
In summer, it is the perfect starting point for **hiking- and mountainbiking tours**.
In winter, the **cross country ski trail** is near the house. The ski bus is **free of charge** and takes you comfortably to the ski area [Dachstein West](https://dachstein.salzkammergut.at/en/oesterreich-poi/detail/430000469/skiregion-dachstein-west-gosau-russbach-annaberg.html?utm_source=tourdata&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=tourdata). You can walk to the bus station just a few minutes.

**Location description**Our house is situated in a calm position in Gosau Vordertal. The cross country ski trail and the next bus stop is reachable in a few meters. In summer, you can start your hikes and mountainbike tours directly from the house.

from Salzburg:**
Motorway exit Golling - Abtenau, Russbach, Gosau.
Gosau: At the Pass Gschütt junction turn left and continue for approx. 3km in the direction of Bad Goisern. After a large garage marked "Kressl" turn right onto Bärnbachstraße. After a few metres you will reach Gästehaus Sams.
**from Linz:**
Motorway exit Regau - Gmunden, Bad Ischl, Bad Goisern, Gosau.
Gosau: After the Gosau-Vordertal sign, turn left after approx. 500m onto Bärnbachstraße. After a few metres you will reach the Sams guesthouse.
**from Vienna/Graz:**
Motorway exit Liezen on the B320, in Trautenfels turn on Salzkammergut street B145 to Bad Aussee, turn on Koppen street through Obertraun and Hallstatt, at the Gosaumühle junction turn left towards Gosau
Gosau: After the Gosau-Vordertal sign, turn left after approx. 500m onto Bärnbachstraße. After a few metres you will reach the Sams guesthouse.
**from Villach:**
Tauern motorway to exit “Eben im Pongau”, via the B166 Pass Gschütt federal road to Gosau
Gosau: At the Pass Gschütt junction turn left and continue for approx. 3km in the direction of Bad Goisern. After a large garage marked "Kressl" turn right onto Bärnbachstraße. After a few metres you will reach Gästehaus Sams.
**by train**
Attnang-Puchheim - Stainach-Irdning lines
Arrival by train in "Steeg / Gosau" then continue with bus 541/542 in the direction Gosausee
**By bus (irregularly on Sundays):**
Bus 470 (Abtenau - Gosau) direction Gosau, stop Gosau Abzw. Pass Gschütt
change to the bus direction Bad Ischl, get off at the bus stop "Gosau Bärnausiedelung". After approx. 150m turn left. You will reach the guesthouse after approx. 100m on the right-hand side.
Bus 541/542 (Bad Ischl - Gosausee) direction Gosausee, stops Haltestelle: Gosau Klaushof, Gosau Bärnausiedlung,
