Sparkassen Hallstättersee-Rundlauf** has been taking place since 1987, and after completing the **21 km** in the beautiful landscape of the Salzkammergut, participants are always raving about the **most beautiful half marathon in Austria**. The starting signal at the Hallstatt petrol station is on 26.04.2026 at 09:45 am. **ASKÖ Hallstatt** will of course once again ensure that the event runs smoothly and is already looking forward to a large starting field. Registration is **possible** via the website of the **[Seerundlauf Hallstatt](http://seerundlauf.hallstatt.net/anmeldung/)** . A run through the world heritage region --------------------------------------- As a participant in the **Int. Sparkassen Hallstättersee-Rundlauf** you will run around Lake Hallstatt and through the 3 World Heritage towns. You start in [Hallstatt](https://dachstein.salzkammergut.at/oesterreich-stadt-ort/detail/430000973/hallstatt.html) in the direction of [**Obertraun**](https://dachstein.salzkammergut.at/oesterreich-stadt-ort/detail/430000976/obertraun.html), the home of the **Dachstein Krippenstein**. Once there, you continue along the [**Ostuferwanderweg**](https://dachstein.salzkammergut.at/oesterreich-tour/detail/430006978/ostuferwanderweg-am-hallstaettersee.html?utm_source=tourdata&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=tourdata) and [**Ostuferradweg**](https://dachstein.salzkammergut.at/oesterreich-tour/detail/100145/ostuferradweg-am-hallstaettersee.html?utm_source=tourdata&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=tourdata) to Obersee, the first district of [**Bad Goisern on Lake Hallstatt**](https://dachstein.salzkammergut.at/bad-goisern-am-hallstaettersee.html?utm_campaign=tourdata&utm_medium=text&utm_source=tourdata). There you pass the 10 km mark. Congratulations! Continue to Steeg, another district of Goisern. This is where the last 5 km of the **International Sparkassen Lake Hallstatt Circuit** begins.
