The **annual erection with the ribbon-decorated wreaths on the maypole** is a **traditional celebration for locals and guests**. The donated **maypole** is traditionally erected **by hand** with the help of **long poles**. Here are a few suggestions: 17:00 Maypole erection with the Friends of Nature on the market square, cozy get-together with music and refreshments 17:00 Maypole raising with the Untersee music band at the Schützenheim Untersee, indoor bar, bratwurst, draught beer and much more. 17:00 Maypole erection at the Weissenbachwirt with music Crafts, tradition and customs ----------------------------- Preserving **old crafts**, **customs** and **traditions** is important to the locals in Gosau, Bad Goisern, Obertraun and Hallstatt.
