Venue of the Austrian Championships ----------------------------------- This marks the ninth consecutive year that the **Hallstättersee Ice Swim has been held in the region** ; the event takes place **on the northern shore of Lake Hallstatt, within** the municipal boundaries of [**Bad Goisern at Lake Hallstatt**](https://dachstein.salzkammergut.at/bad-goisern-am-hallstaettersee.html?utm_campaign=tourdata&utm_medium=text&utm_source=tourdata) **,** in **Untersee Bay**. Swimmers will compete in **the crystal-clear waters of** [**Lake Hallstatt**](https://dachstein.salzkammergut.at/hallstaettersee.html?utm_campaign=tourdata&utm_medium=text&utm_source=tourdata) **in** four 25-meter lanes.
