In total, **more than 8,000 students have attended** the largest master class in wind instruments in Central Europe since its founding in 1996. Its reputation goes far into the **national and international music scene**, agencies in Japan and China bring students to Goisern every year, and the Austrian brass band honors this course with the **"Pedagogic Award"**. The brass band holidays as first step to a music career ------------------------------------------------------- Numerous **musician careers have their origin at "Bläserurlaub" (brass band holidays) in Bad Goisern**, students make their first contacts in Goisern to professors of music studies, some now playing in world-famous orchestras such. at the Vienna Philharmonic. In addition, this course **continues to provide artistic impulses** to the entire Austrian brass music scene in the form of **new compositions** or, for example, **a new trumpet school** written by lecturers of "Bläserurlaub". However, the musical quality of the "Bläserurlaub" is not the only reason, which **annually brings about 500 people to make music together** in Bad Goisern. After hard work you have enough time to experience the region ------------------------------------------------------------- In addition to all focus on further development and enhancement of musical abilities, the **fun and enjoyment must not be neglected**. The picture-book-like environment with its **mountains, lakes and numerous cultural treasures** literally invites to joint ventures and social gatherings at the end of each course day. The fixed points of the course week include a **street concert in center** and **spontaneous jam sessions** in Goiserer restaurants followed by early morning visits to Kurti's bakery. All this makes the "Bläserurlaub" Bad Goisern so special and unique and is therefore a topic of conversation in many Austrian brass bands or music schools.
