# Holidays with your dog in the Dachstein Salzkammergut

Yes, he must always be there - **a human's best friend - the dog**. Especially on holidays you want to **spend time with your dog** and take him with you wherever possible. This is why there is **hardly a place** in the Dachstein Salzkammergut **that cannot be visited with a dog**.

Our **hiking trails** are ideal for dogs and even at **our lakes** dogs are welcome bathers. In **winter the snow** awakens the desire to play while one walks with the **owner in snowshoes** to the 5fingers or undertakes a comfortable **ski tour**.

**So much nature experiences as in the Dachstein Salzkammergut dogs rarely see anwhere else.**

Transport with your dog in the region

You think with dog you always need a car to get from one place to another. Wrong thought! In the **Dachstein Salzkammergut all public means of transport are available for humans as well as for dogs**! You only have to think of two things: **muzzle and leash**.
