When the winter months begin, the familiar sounds of the colliding ice sticks of locals and guests resound everywhere.

If it's evening after skiing or cross-country skiing, you'll meet again on the ice rink for curling, you don't just have to watch the locals, you can also try it yourself!

Curling is best compared to Boggia, but the throwing technique on the ice is not that easy. Combined with a day on Gosau's ski slopes this excursion is suitable as an evening program or combined with a snowshoe tour as a day trip.Ice sticks can be borrowed from the Brandwirt.

Beginners and advanced skiers, small and large groups can enjoy this fun winter sport on this ice rink at the Gasthof Brandwirt. And with a warm tea (with or without a shot) you can forget the low temperatures.

exit Golling - Abtenau, Rußbach, Gosau
Gosau: Turn right a few meters befor you reach the cross Pass Gschütt an take the drive to the inn Brandwirt.

from Linz:
exit Regau - Gmunden, Bad Ischl, Bad Goisern, Gosau
Gosau: Turn right at the cross Pass Gschütt and take the first drive on the left side to the inn Brandwirt.

by bus (irregular on Sundays):
from Bad Ischl: bus in direction to "Gosausee" (Lake Gosau)
from Rußbach: bus in direction to Gosau
