Where better to spend an active holiday than with us in the Holiday Region Dachstein Salzkammergut ? In Bad Goisern at Lake Hallstatt, Obertraun, Hallstatt and Gosau at Dachstein you find everything your heart desires. Whether you are a comfortable beginner, an ambitious intermediate or a trained professional - the mountains, valleys and lakes offer possibilities for every level.

When the height meters have to tumble, then hikes, trail runs, (e-)mountain bike and gravel bike tours in our mountain groups and the Dachstein massif are the right choice. The Koppenpass, Pötschenpass or Pass Gschütt (mountain passes) challenge all racing bike lovers.  Faster but no less strenuous, you can get the height meters by climbing on our climbing routes or in our via ferratas.

If you're looking for the effort in the shallow, it is all figured out.  Our lakes, the river Traun and our brooks are suitable for all kinds of water sports. From swimming to Stand-up Paddling or fishing to kayaking, canoeing or diving (including ice diving!) - in and around our waters you can actively let off steam.

A very special sport - archery - has a long tradition in our region. 3D field courses and more archery facilities are waiting for you for the unerring training.

If you also like ball sports, you can let your calories run out on the various football pitches, beach volleyball courts and tennis courts as well as in the indoor tennis hall.
