The mountain pasture Sonnenalm at the Zwieselalm - a comfortable hut in summer and in winter!

Visit the Sonnenalm

From the Sonnenalm you can enjoy a magnificent mountain world with a view from the Dachstein over the Gosaukamm to the Großglockner.
On our sun terrace, in the winter garden or in our cosy guest lounges we serve you homemade pastries and alp snacks.

In summer you can reach us via the cable car "Gosaukammbahn" or you can start your hike directly from the Lake Gosau.

In winter you can reach us via the Panoramajet in the rear Gosau valley.

The Sonnenalm can be reached in summer with the Gosaukammbahn and in winter with the Panoramajet.

from Salzburg:

Highway exit Golling - Abtenau, Rußbach, Gosau
Gosau: after the Pass Gschütt junction, turn right onto the Gosausee Landstraße, direction Gosausee

from Linz:
Regau highway exit - Gmunden, Bad Ischl, Bad Goisern, Gosau
Gosau: at the Pass Gschütt junction, drive straight ahead onto the Gosausee Landstraße, direction Gosausee

from Vienna/Graz:
Liezen highway exit onto B320, in Trautenfels turn onto Salzkammergut Straße B145 to Bad Aussee, continue on B145 towards Bad Goisern, take the B166 ramp to Golling/Gosau/Obertraun/Hallstatt/Bad Goisern-Süd, turn right at Gosaumühle junction towards Gosau
Gosau: at the Pass Gschütt junction, drive straight ahead onto the Gosausee Landstraße, direction Gosausee

from Villach:
Tauernautobahn to exit "Eben im Pongau", via B166 Pass Gschütt Bundesstraße to Gosau
Gosau: after the Pass Gschütt junction, turn right onto the Gosausee Landstraße, direction Gosausee

By train
Route Attnang-Puchheim - Stainach-Irdning
Arrival by train in "Steeg / Gosau" then continue by bus 541 in the direction of Gosaumühle, change to bus 542 in the direction of Lake Gosau

By bus (Sundays irregular):
Bus 470 (Abtenau - Gosau) direction Gosau, bus stop Gosau Abzw. Pass Gschütt
change to bus 542 direction Gosausee, get off at the bus stop "Hintertal b.Gosau Gosaukammbahn"
