Austrian classics with an international touch and selected regional specialties from the Salzkammergut await you in the Seeauer restaurant. The cuisine combines traditional flavors with modern interpretations and places particular emphasis on quality and regionality.

A Culinary Delight with a View of Lake Hallstatt

The menu offers a varied selection—from classic meat and fish dishes to vegetarian options, as well as homemade desserts and a selection of fine ice creams in the summer. Of particular note are the regional fish specialties from the surrounding lakes and seasonal dishes featuring local produce.

We’ve also got you covered for little treats throughout the day: whether it’s an aromatic cup of coffee or a relaxing tea break—the restaurant invites you to linger at any time of day.

The restaurant seats approximately 90 people. For larger events such as weddings or corporate gatherings, long banquet tables can accommodate up to 105 guests. A special highlight is the new, slightly elevated terrace, which offers an impressive view of Lake Hallstatt and the surrounding mountains. It seats up to 30 people, who can enjoy the unique panorama in a relaxed atmosphere.

For dinner, table reservations are available exclusively during two time slots: from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. or from 7:30 p.m. until closing time. The evening dress code is smart casual, and closed-toe shoes are required. A cover charge of €4.90 per person applies.

From April through October, the restaurant offers a lunch menu daily from 12:00 PM to 4:30 PM and a dinner menu from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM (hot dishes served until 8:30 PM; dessert orders accepted until 9:00 PM).
