The "Ausblick" is a family business in 1580 m altitude which is summer and winter a favored restaurante by hikers, climbers, ski and snowboards.

The Ausblick is well situated directly in the Zwieselalm area and the ski region Dachstein West, 150m under the mountain station panoramajet and next to the Sonnenalm.
It does not matter if summer or winter the guests will find a relaxing atmosphere.

The name of the restaurant is not a coincidence. Because it does not matter if you sit in the general room or on the terrace you always have a unique "view" to the Hohen Dachstein - Gosaukamm - Großglockner. An indescribable mountain panorama.

Take your time and enjoy the home made, delicious meals.

Special Tipp: taste the exquisite home made apple- and curd cheese strudels, which are a perfekt sweet seduction.

The view can be reached in summer with the Gosaukammbahn and in winter with the Panoramajet.

By car
from Salzburg:
Highway exit Golling - Abtenau, Rußbach, Gosau
Gosau: after the Pass Gschütt junction, turn right onto the Gosausee Landstraße, after approx. 7 km you will reach Lake Gosau.

From Linz:
Regau highway exit - Gmunden, Bad Ischl, Bad Goisern, Gosau
Gosau: at the Pass Gschütt junction, drive straight ahead onto the Gosausee Landstraße, then after approx. 7 km you will reach Lake Gosau.

from Vienna/Graz:
Liezen highway exit onto B320, in Trautenfels turn onto Salzkammergut Straße B145 to Bad Aussee, continue on the B145 towards Bad Goisern, take the B166 ramp to Golling/Gosau/Obertraun/Hallstatt/Bad Goisern-Süd, turn right at the Gosaumühle junction towards Gosau
Gosau: at the Pass Gschütt junction, drive straight ahead onto the Gosausee Landstraße, then after approx. 7 km you will reach the Gosausee.

from Villach:
Tauernautobahn to exit "Eben im Pongau", via B166 Pass Gschütt Bundesstraße to Gosau
Gosau: after the Pass Gschütt junction, turn right onto the Gosausee Landstraße, after approx. 7 km you will reach Lake Gosau.

By train
Route Attnang-Puchheim - Stainach-Irdning
Arrival by train in "Steeg / Gosau" then continue by bus 541 in the direction of Gosaumühle, change to bus 542 in the direction of Lake Gosau

By bus (Sundays irregular):
Bus 470 (Abtenau - Gosau) direction Gosau, bus stop Gosau Abzw. Pass Gschütt
change to bus 542 direction Gosausee, get off at the bus stop "Hintertal b.Gosau Gosaukammbahn" and you will reach the Gasthof Gosausee.
