This base is conveniently located near the B 145 and unites three emergency organizations: Mountain Rescue - Fire Brigade - Water Rescue
In 2015 , Goisern Mountain Rescue celebrated its 70th anniversary and has been led by local station manager Ronald Schilcher since 2024.

Accessibility / arrivalThe mountain rescue office is located in the new safety center in Bad Goisern at Lake Hallstatt.
Turn off at the traffic circle on the B 145 in direction Lasern. The safety center is located opposite the Hofer.
