In Hallstatt's high valley you can find that famous burial ground, that of an entire era gave the name "Hallstatt Culture". The finds, which are exhibited in the museum in the center of the World Heritage town, testify to exquisite luxury and elitist understanding of art, but also to worldwide trade relations. In addition to the numerous original finds from the Hallstatt burial ground, various areas of life such as religion, everyday culture and tourism are effectively and vividly staged.
On a unique journey through time, historical events at various stations are prepared in an interesting and informative way, with video animations, holographic representations and three-dimensional presentations also being used. A visit to the Hallstatt Museum in the Holiday Region Dachstein Salzkammergut is definitely an experience for the whole family.
