RV Parking Spaces at Lake Hallstatt
For all RV enthusiasts, there’s an RV parking area at the Winkl outdoor swimming pool in Obertraun .
The sites are located directly on the shore of Lake Hallstatt, offering a view of the 7,000-year-old World Heritage site and salt-mining town of Hallstatt with its picturesque town center. The 8 RV sites are clearly marked . Reservations are not accepted.
The fee must be paid at the parking meter. (EasyPark app, coins, or debit/credit card—no bills!).
There is a dedicated service station for water and electricity (coins only) as well as a waste disposal station for gray water (free of charge!)
Restroom facilities, changing rooms, and a shower are available at the adjacent outdoor swimming pool, which also features a separate, designated nude swimming area.
Open year-round— however, services are limited during the frost season (e.g., no water supply or wastewater disposal, no restrooms, no showers).
