Location descriptionThe spa town of Bad Goisern at Lake Hallstatt is located 17 km from the geographical centre of Austria (Bad Aussee) in the southern part of the Austrian province of Upper Austria, in the UNESCO-designated Hallstatt - Dachstein - Salzkammergut region.
It is about 4 km from the flat to the centre of Bad Goisern. The world-famous town of Hallstatt or the imperial town of Bad Ischl can be reached by car in 15 minutes. The festival city of Salzburg, the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, is an hour's drive away.
Inns, bakery, butchers and supermarkets are within a distance of 1 to 4 km.
In only 5 minutes you are on the cross-country skiing track or at the bus stop. This bus takes you to the skiing areas Dachstein West in Gosau, Krippenstein in Obertraun or to the "imperial city" Bad Ischl. The railway station Steeg-Gosau is 1.4 km away.

Gertraud is a passionate cook (the welcome cake will convince you of this) and gardening enthusiast with a green thumb. Paul is a passionate philatelist and a singer with the Martinschor (church choir) and mixed choir (Hodgepodge) Bad Goisern. Both enjoy travelling in the mountains of their beautiful home region. have been renting out the holiday flat with joy and enthusiasm since 1991. They have their own philosophy. The flat is designed and furnished as if they were on holiday in it themselves. Suggestions for improvement are gladly accepted. They are therefore constantly adapting the flat to the needs of their guests. The last renovation was carried out in 2018. The feedback and reviews from guests as well as the awards and success prove them right.
