The surrounding excursion destinations such as the Salt Mine in Hallstatt, the Giant Ice Cave on the Dachstein or the "HAND.WERK.HAUS" Salzkammergut in Bad Goisern provide variety during your holiday. Events revolving around regional customs, but also classics, round off the holiday experience.
In winter, the Dachstein West ski region, the largest ski area in Upper Austria, offers for winter sports enthusiasts. Over 160 kilometres of slopes can be discovered from Gosau. Modern lifts take you comfortably to the slopes and rustic huts invite you to recharge your batteries. Our hotel shuttle takes you directly to the start and nothing stands in the way of a day full of fun on the slopes. Cross-country skiers, snowshoe hikers and tobogganers also get their kicks in Gosau!

The room, created by Austrian designers, is intended to inspire guests to find out more about the Salzkammergut. The design is based on existing features and blends in with the old. Sustainably designed objects and regional materials are intended to define a contemporary design language typical of the Salzkammergut. A colourful cross-over of craftsmanship, design, old and new. For us, this is an exciting attempt to actively participate in the Salzkammergut Capital of Culture 2024.

Gosau: at the Pass - Gschütt junction turn right onto the Pass - Gschütt road, after approx. 600m you will reach Hotel Koller on the left.
from Vienna/Graz:
Motorway exit Liezen on the B320, in Trautenfels turn on Salzkammergut street B145 to Bad Aussee, turn on Koppen street through Obertraun and Hallstatt, at the Gosaumühle junction turn left towards Gosau
Gosau: at the Pass - Gschütt junction turn right onto the Pass - Gschütt road, after approx. 600m you will reach Hotel Koller on the left.
from Villach:
Tauern motorway to exit “Eben im Pongau”, via the B166 Pass Gschütt federal road to Gosau
Gosau: After the village sign, turn right after approx. 500m and you will find Hotel Koller.
