In summer, the house is a good starting point for many hiking and mountainbiking tours.

In winter, the skiregion Dachstein West is reachable by bus in a few minutes. Also the cross country ski trails are close to the house.

Motorway exit Golling - Abtenau, Rußbach, Gosau
Gosau: Turn left after the Pass Gschütt junction onto Vordertalstraße, after approx. 700 m turn left onto Ramsaustraße. After approx. 350 m you will reach the flat.

From Linz:
Motorway exit Regau - Gmunden, Bad Ischl, Bad Goisern, Gosau
Gosau: Turn right onto Ramsaustraße, after approx. 350 m you will reach the apartment.

From Vienna/Graz:
Motorway exit Liezen onto B320, in Trautenfels turn onto Salzkammergut Straße B145 to Bad Aussee, turn onto Koppenstraße through Obertraun and Hallstatt, at the Gosaumühle junction turn left towards Gosau
Gosau: Turn right onto Ramsaustraße, after approx. 350 m you will reach the apartment.

From Villach:
Tauern motorway to exit "Eben im Pongau", via B166 Pass Gschütt Bundesstraße to Gosau
Gosau: Turn left after the Pass Gschütt junction onto Vordertalstraße, after approx. 700 m turn left onto Ramsaustraße. After approx. 350 m you will reach the flat.

By train
Train route Attnang-Puchheim - Stainach-Irdning
Arrival by train in "Steeg / Gosau" then continue by bus 541/542 direction Gosausee

By bus (Sundays irregular):
Bus 470 (Abtenau - Gosau) direction Gosau, bus stop Gosau Abzw. Pass Gschütt
Transfer to the bus in the direction of Bad Ischl, get off at the bus stop "Gosau Ramsau B166", follow Ramsaustraße for about 5 minutes and you will reach the flat.

Bus 541/542 (Bad Ischl - Gosausee) direction Gosausee, bus stop: Gosau Klaushof, Gosau Bärnausiedlung, Gosau Ressenbachweg, Gosau Vordertal B166, Gosau Ramsau B166,
follow Ramsaustraße for approx. 5 minutes and you will reach the flat.
