Spend the night in a hut

As our guest you will enjoy all the comforts of a contemporary hut. Comfortably equipped rooms and campsites, a large panoramic terrace, a play pond and a hut team that is always attentive to your well-being.

The hut is situated at 1,550 m above sea level. Luggage transport is possible with our own material cable car.

From mid-May to the end of October you can enjoy the unique fauna and flora in the Zwieselalm area or go on a different hike or climbing tour every day. A very popular summit destination is the large Donnerkogel via ferrata.

In winter, you can enjoy the direct lift connection right in the centre of the Dachstein West ski region.

from Salzburg:
Motorway exit Golling - Abtenau, Russbach, Gosau.
Gosau: after the Pass Gschütt junction turn right onto the Gosausee Landstraße, after approx. 7 km you will reach the car park at Lake Gosau. From there you can reach the Gablonzer hut either via hiking trail no. 620 or by taking the cablecar "Gosaukammbahn"

from Linz:
Motorway exit Regau - Gmunden, Bad Ischl, Bad Goisern, Gosau.
Gosau: at the Pass Gschütt junction, drive straight ahead onto the Gosausee Landstraße, then after approx. 7 km you will reach the car park at Vorderer Gosausee. From there you can reach the Gablonzer hut either via hiking trail no. 620 or by taking the cablecar "Gosaukammbahn".

from Vienna/Graz:
Motorway exit Liezen on the B320, in Trautenfels turn on Salzkammergut street B145 to Bad Aussee, turn on Koppen street through Obertraun and Hallstatt, at the Gosaumühle junction turn left towards Gosau
Gosau: at the Pass Gschütt junction, drive straight ahead onto the Gosausee Landstraße, then after approx. 7 km you will reach the car park at Vorderer Gosausee. From there you can reach the Gablonzer hut either via hiking trail no. 620 or by taking the cablecar "Gosaukammbahn".

from Villach:
Tauern motorway to exit “Eben im Pongau”, via the B166 Pass Gschütt federal road to Gosau
Gosau: after the Pass Gschütt junction turn right onto the Gosausee Landstraße, after approx. 7 km you will reach the car park at Lake Gosau. From there you can reach the Gablonzer hut either via hiking trail no. 620 or by taking the cablecar "Gosaukammbahn"

Attnang-Puchheim - Stainach-Irdning lines
Arrival by train in "Steeg / Gosau" then continue with bus 541/542 in the direction Gosausee

By bus (irregularly on Sundays):
Bus 470 (Abtenau - Gosau) direction Gosau, stop Gosau Abzw. Pass Gschütt
change to the bus in the direction of Gosausee, get off at the stop "Hintertal b.Gosau Gosaukammbahn" and either travel up with the cablecar "Gosaukammbahn" or use hiking trail no. 620 to get to the Gablonzer hut.

either take the cablecar "Gosaukammbahn" up or use hiking trail no. 620 to get to the Gablonzer hut.

The hut is open in summer during the opening hours of the Gosaukamm cablecar and in winter during the opening hours of the skiing area Dachstein West.
