Holiday by the reservoir in Gosau

The very lovely and newly renovated hut located directly in the beautiful Gosau valley and offers space for up to 10 people.

After an exciting day on the slopes, the warm living room, equipped with a tiled stove and TV, offers space to enjoy the evenings together. The sauna in the basement is the perfect place to relax.

The kitchen is equipped with an electric cooker (2 hotplates), fridge, kettle and coffee machine and offers the possibility to prepare your own meals.

Our pets are very welcome in the hut and there is plenty of space in front of the house where they can let off steam to their heart's content.

In summer, the barbecue in front of the house with a view of the surrounding mountains makes hearts glow. The space in front of the hut is perfect for enjoying the sun. Due to its good location, the hut is the perfect accommodation for hikers and mountain bikers who want to do without their car during their holiday. The Lake Gosau, known for its beauty and with a view of the Dachstein glacier, is also only 2 km away.

In winter, the self-catering hut is also suitable accommodation for skiers in winter. Cross-country skiers can reach the nearby cross-country skiing trail network on foot. The valley station of the Dachstein West ski region is only 500m away.

The hut is in a sunny position at the edge of the village. Situated next to the outdoor museum and the reservoir of Gosau, it is the perfect starting point for many hikes and other mountain tours.
The ski region Dachstein West is just about 1 km away.
As the hut is in the valley of Gosau, it is reachable by car.

Motorway exit Golling - Abtenau, Russbach, Gosau.
Gosau: After the Pass Gschütt junction, turn right onto the Gosausee Landstraße. After approx. 5 km you will reach the hut on the right-hand side directly opposite the Gosau reservoir.

from Linz:
Motorway exit Regau - Gmunden, Bad Ischl, Bad Goisern, Gosau.
Gosau: At the Pass Gschütt junction, continue straight ahead onto the Gosausee Landstraße. After approx. 5 km you will reach the hut on the right-hand side, directly opposite the Gosau reservoir.

from Vienna/Graz:
Motorway exit Liezen on the B320, in Trautenfels turn on Salzkammergut street B145 to Bad Aussee, turn on Koppen street through Obertraun and Hallstatt, at the Gosaumühle junction turn left towards Gosau
Gosau: At the Pass Gschütt junction, continue straight ahead onto the Gosausee Landstraße. After approx. 5 km you will reach the hut on the right-hand side, directly opposite the Gosau reservoir.

from Villach:
Tauern motorway to exit “Eben im Pongau”, via the B166 Pass Gschütt federal road to Gosau
Gosau: After the Pass Gschütt junction, turn right onto the Gosausee Landstraße. After approx. 5 km you will reach the hut on the right-hand side directly opposite the Gosau reservoir.

Arrival by train in "Steeg / Gosau" then continue with bus 542 in the direction Gosausee

by bus (irregularly on Sundays):
Bus 470 (Abtenau - Gosau) direction Gosau, stop Gosau Abzw. Pass Gschütt,
change at the bus stop "Gosau Abzweigung Pass Gschütt" to the bus direction Gosausee (Lake Gosau) and get off at the bus stop "Hintertal b. Gosau Freilichtmuseum". The hut is on the right-hand side.
