The Echerntal is the ideal starting point for hikes to the impressive Waldbachstrub waterfalls and the Glacier Garden.
Or walk along the Waldbach towards Lake Hallstatt and reach the historic center of Hallstatt in about 15 minutes. A five-minute walk also separates you from the Salzberg cable car, which takes you to the Hallstatt Salt Worlds.

Exit Liezen via federal road B320, in Trautenfels drive onto Salzkammergut street B145 towards Bad Aussee, turn onto Koppen street via Obertraun to Hallstatt
from Villach:
Tauern motorway to exit "Eben im Pongau", via B166 Pass Gschütt federal road through Gosau, at the Gosaumühle junction turn towards Hallstatt
