Holiday in the holiday flat Kogelblick
In the picturesque skiing and hiking village of Gosau, in the middle of the Dachstein West ski region, you will find the Kogelblick holiday flat, which was newly renovated in summer 2016.
The flat has a kitchen, a living/dining room (corner bench, dining table, pull-out couch, flat screen TV), a spacious balcony, a separate bedroom (double bed and a bunk bed with up to three sleeping places) as well as a bathroom and a separate toilet.
The special feature of the "Kogelblick" holiday flat is that it is located in the Vitalhotel Gosau and hotel facilities such as the wellness oasis (with sauna, solarium, infrared cabins, relaxation rooms and a small pool), games room, playground, fitness room, table tennis, ski stall, ski shuttle and much more can be used free of charge.
You can cater for yourself in the fully equipped kitchen of the holiday flat or use the hotel restaurant and the cosy bar (breakfast, half board or, in summer, all-inclusive package can be booked directly at the hotel on site).
The hotel complex has a large garden with playground, petting zoo and guest garden. Right next to the accommodation is the large Gosau adventure playground and an indoor tennis court (bookable at the hotel).
In summer there is a bike rental (incl. e-bike) and you receive the Salzkammergut Card free of charge, which includes many offers and discounts in the region. Hiking tours and mountainbike tours are directly at the hotel to start.
In winter, the free ski shuttle can be used directly from the hotel to the Dachstein-West ski area, which is about 2 km away. The largest skiing area in Upper Austria has 142 kilometres of perfectly groomed pistes with many rustic huts and opportunities for après ski.
Directly next to the hotel runs the groomed cross-country ski trail through the Gosau valley.

Motorway exit Liezen on the B320, in Trautenfels turn on Salzkammergut street B145 to Bad Aussee, turn on Koppen street through Obertraun and Hallstatt, at the Gosaumühle junction turn left towards Gosau
Gosau: Straight ahead at the cross Pass Gschütt and follow the Gosausee Landstaße. After about 50 m turn left. After 200 m you reach the Apartment Kogelblick.
from Villach:
Tauern motorway to exit “Eben im Pongau”, via the B166 Pass Gschütt federal road to Gosau

Arrival by train in "Steeg / Gosau" then continue with bus 541/542 in the direction Gosausee
By bus (irregular on Sundays):
Bus 470 (Abtenau - Gosau) direction Gosau, stop Gosau Abzw. Pass Gschütt,
follow the signs to the Vitalhotel on the left side of the road. After approx. 200m you will reach the Apartment Kogelblick.
Bus 541/542 (Bad Ischl - Gosausee) direction Gosausee, stops Haltestelle: Gosau Klaushof, Gosau Bärnausiedlung, Gosau Ressenbachweg, Gosau Vordertal B166, Gosau Ramsau B166, Gosau, Gemeindeamt, Abzw. Pass Gschütt,
follow the signs to the Vitalhotel on the left side of the road. After approx. 200m you will reach the Apartment Kogelblick.
