Raising the Maypole
Traditionally, the Maypole will be set up on the market square in Bad Goisern at Lake Hallstatt on April 30th.
The annual setting up with the ribbon decorated wreaths on the Maypole is a traditional festival for locals and guests.
The donated Maypole is traditionally set up by hand using long poles
