Harvest Thanksgiving Service with Pastor Scheutz
This tradition has its roots in rural culture and in giving thanks for a successful harvest, which was once essential to the survival of the local population.
A hallmark of the Thanksgiving service in Bad Goisern is the festively decorated altar featuring harvest offerings such as grain, fruit, vegetables, and much more.
The children from the Protestant kindergarten also participate every year.
