Description: From 3 December 2024, the footpath into the Hallstatt high valley will be closed until the opening of the Salzberg cable car in 2026.
Safe access is already no longer possible due to weather conditions.
The platform floats freely in almost 360 meters above sea level and offers a unique view of the UNESCO World Heritage town of Hallstatt and the hiking region of Dachstein Salzkammergut. A top excursion destination that offers deep insights into history and wonderful views over Hallstatt.

The plattform "World Heritage View"is easily accessible via the Salzbergbahn funicular. Public transport: ÖBB railway station "Hallstatt" and boat transfer to Hallstatt Town.
The parking lots are managed by the community Hallstatt - Fees are to be paid locally. The fee for the car is about 3,50 € per hour For buses the salt mines refund the parking fee (40,00 €) at the Salzwelten cashdesk.
