It's time again to get the leather pants and the dirndl out of the box. The Goiserer shoes must be polished to a high gloss and the Gamsbart should sit correctly on the hat. From 29 till 31 August 2025 the Goiserer Gamsjagatage take place.

Crafts, music and customs in Bad Goisern with Gamsbartolympiade on Saturday, August 30, 2025

The event definitely stands for traditional customs, because nowhere else than at the Goiserer Gamsjagatagen are the old traditions combined with regional entertainment so well.  

A highlight of the Goiserer Gamsjagatage, organized by the Bürgermusik Bad Goisern, is the Radlpirsch, where a large number of gun bike enthusiasts meet every year to explore the landscape and fun stations together.

The Goiserer Gamsjagatage are also known for showcasing local handicrafts while listening to the sounds of traditional music.
A small, fine crafts and gourmet market takes place on Saturday and Sunday

On Saturday, August 30 and Sunday, August 31, the HAND.WERK.HAUS Salzkammergut with its special exhibition is open. Guided tours will take place each morning.
What hands can do - craftsmanship goes to school
In its special exhibition "What hands can do - craftsmanship goes to school", the Hand.Werk.Haus shows what happens when craftsmanship and young people come together. Because it's a good feeling to create something with your own hands.
In the exhibition rooms, a stylized classroom and a workroom are created, where work surfaces, machines and tools, exhibition objects, presentations and interactive manual experience space alternate.
