The hut Adamek is the meeting point for friends of mountaineering! The hut is the starting point for many high alpine hiking trails!

From the hut to the glacier

The Adamek hut is located at 2.196 m and has a unique position on the Gosau glacier. Once the hut was enclosed by the glacier, today it is the meeting place for alpinists, hikers, climbers or groups.

From the hut you can reach the glacier forefield in a few minutes, where a glacier nature trail has been established in recent years. Now an hour's walk away, you reach the first glacier tongues of the Dachstein glacier, which are constantly accompanied by the thundering meltwater.

Friends of climbing sports can let off steam in the Schreiberwand climbing garden or the alpine classics of the Schneebergwand all the way to the Dachstein.
