Tobboggan hut (Trockentann sledge trail)

The toboggan hut is closed in summer!
Strengthen and warm yourself before a fun toboggan ride in the cosy toboggan hut!

The Rodelhütte reopened at the end of 2013—so in winter, as soon as the first snow falls and weather conditions permit, visitors can once again enjoy the fun of tobogganing.

The roughly 150-meter climb from the Trockentann parking lot to the toboggan hut can be completed in just over 40 minutes, even at night, thanks to the lighting system.

The toboggan hut, which was built in 1992 for the World Championships in natural track tobogganing, burned down in January 2013. A modern, new toboggan hut was built on the same site—just stop by and enjoy a cozy break.

From the Trockentann parking lot, the hut is a 40-minute hike uphill. For several years now, the hut has been run by Edith Gebhartl. To warm up, you can enjoy hot tea or mulled wine, light snacks, small meals, and homemade pastries.

The hut can accommodate about 40 people—reservations are requested for groups!

The toboggan hut is open from December through early March, depending on the weather and snow conditions.
