Directly in the ski region Dachstein West and at the bottom of the lifts of the Hornspitz our house is located and offers regional dishes.
Meals directly beside the slopes
Good home cooking for refreshment before, during or after the fun on the slopes. Whether tea, coffee, smoked fruit juices, lemonades or alcoholic beverages. No one goes thirsty at Inn Sumara. We also offer a holiday flat, two double rooms with balcony, which are located directly at the valley station of the Hornspitz cable car.
We are only open in winter.

Highway exit Golling - Abtenau, Rußbach, Gosau
Gosau: after the Pass Gschütt junction turn right onto Gosausee Landstraße, after approx. 2 km you will reach Gasthaus Sumara on the right-hand side.
From Linz:
highway exit Regau - Gmunden, Bad Ischl, Bad Goisern, Gosau
Gosau: at the Pass Gschütt junction, drive straight ahead onto the Gosausee Landstraße, after approx. 2 km you will reach the Gasthaus Sumara on the right-hand side.
from Vienna/Graz:
Liezen highway exit onto B320, in Trautenfels turn onto Salzkammergut Straße B145 to Bad Aussee, continue on B145 towards Bad Goisern, take the B166 ramp to Golling/Gosau/Obertraun/Hallstatt/Bad Goisern-Süd, turn right at the Gosaumühle junction towards Gosau
Gosau: at the Pass Gschütt junction, drive straight ahead onto the Gosausee Landstraße, after approx. 2 km you will reach Gasthaus Sumara on the right-hand side.
from Villach:
Tauernautobahn to exit "Eben im Pongau", via B166 Pass Gschütt Bundesstraße to Gosau
Gosau: after the Pass Gschütt junction, turn right onto the Gosausee Landstraße, after approx. 2 km you will reach the Gasthaus Sumara on the right-hand side.
By train
Route Attnang-Puchheim - Stainach-Irdning
Arrival by train in "Steeg / Gosau" then continue by bus 541 in the direction of Gosaumühle, change to bus 542 in the direction of Lake Gosau
By bus (Sundays irregular):
Bus 470 (Abtenau - Gosau) direction Gosau, bus stop Gosau Abzw. Pass Gschütt
change to bus 542 direction Gosausee, get off at the bus stop "Mittertal, Hornspitzlift" and you will reach the Gasthaus Sumara on the right side.
Bus 541 (Bad Ischl - Gosaumühle)
