Holidays in the Schwadengütl

On a small hill in the centre of Gosau is our farmhouse, which has been lovingly renovated with great respect for the traditional character.
On the upper floor, original wooden walls, tram ceilings, floors and doors are reminiscent of the life of yesteryear.

A special feature of our house are the new solid wood beds and furniture made of local Swiss stone pine wood in all four bedrooms. The scent of stone pine also wafts through the newly built stone pine sauna on the ground floor.

A new pellet central heating system was also installed. The old tiled cooker is still in the living room and a kitchen cooker provides additional warm in the kitchen.

The combination of original flair in idyllic surroundings with modern comfort makes this house something special.

from Salzburg:
Motorway exit Golling - Abtenau, Russbach, Gosau.
Gosau: After the Pass Gschütt junction turn left onto Vordertalstraße, after approx. 700 m turn left onto Ramsaustraße. After about 50 m you will reach the house on the right hand side.

from Linz:
Motorway exit Regau - Gmunden, Bad Ischl, Bad Goisern, Gosau
Gosau: Drive along the B 166 towards Gosau Mittertal. Shortly before you reach the centre of the village, you will see the Schnitzhofer garage on the left-hand side of the road. Turn right opposite the workshop onto Ramsaustraße. After about 50 m you will reach the house on the right hand side.

from Vienna/Graz:
Motorway exit Liezen on the B320, in Trautenfels turn on Salzkammergut street B145 to Bad Aussee, turn on Koppen street through Obertraun and Hallstatt, at the Gosaumühle junction turn left towards Gosau

from Villach:
Tauern motorway to exit “Eben im Pongau”, via the B166 Pass Gschütt federal road to Gosau
Gosau: After the Pass Gschütt junction turn left onto Vordertalstraße, after approx. 700 m turn left onto Ramsaustraße. After about 50 m you will reach the house on the right hand side.

Attnang-Puchheim - Stainach-Irdning lines
Arrival by train in "Steeg / Gosau" then continue with bus 541/542 in the direction Gosausee

By bus (irregularly on Sundays):
Bus 470 (Abtenau - Gosau) direction Gosau, stop Gosau Abzw. Pass Gschütt,
change to the bus direction Bad Ischl, get off at the bus stop "Gosau Ramsau B166", follow Ramsaustraße for approx. 50 m and you will reach the house on the right hand side.

Bus 541/542 (Bad Ischl - Gosausee) direction Gosausee, stops Haltestelle: Gosau Klaushof, Gosau Bärnausiedlung, Gosau Ressenbachweg, Gosau Vordertal B166, Gosau Ramsau B166
Follow Ramsaustraße for about 50 m and you will reach the house on the right hand side.
