If you want to try yourself in tennis, do not want to neglect your tennis training during your summer vacations or simply want to play tennis more frequently, you have the opportunity to enjoy yourselves at the tennis court in Obertraun.

Playing tennis in Obertraun

The summer in all its variety of activities whether on the mountain, on the bike or in the cool water also offers tennis fans the opportunity to devote their passion while being in the fresh mountain air.

Not far from Hallstatt, which is located directly on Lake Hallstatt and whose water surface, among other things, reflects the Salzberg, is the village Obertraun.

Two synthetic-grass tennis fields with quartz sand are at your disposal for your tennis pleasure and are perfect for improving your serve. The ASKÖ Tennis Club Obertraun also trains there in the summer months to prepare for the upcoming competitions.

Time for practicing by appointment possible.

Cooling reward in the Lake Hallstatt

There is no more agreeable feeling for the trained body than a refreshing cooling in Lake Hallstatt. Therefore, the ideal location of the Obertraun beach resort offers the perfect solution, to relax the tired muscles and enjoy the summer feeling. Tennis courts are opened from 1st of May to 31st October, from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

in Trautenfels turn onto Salzkammergut Straße B145 via Bad Aussee to Obertraun

from Villach:
A10 Tauernautobahn to exit "Eben im Pongau", from there via Annaberg, Gosau and Hallstatt to Obertraun

by bus:
get off at the bus station “Obertraun Traunbrücke", from there walk to the tennis courts

by train:
from Linz/Salzburg to Attnang-Puchheim, change to train to Stainach-Irdning
or from Stainach-Irdning Zug direction Attnang-Puchheim
get off at train station "Obertraun-Dachsteinhöhlen", from there approx. 20 min walk
