Giselawarte - Panoramic View Point

Bad Goisern am Hallstättersee, Oberösterreich, Österreich

The small monument has been dedicated to Josef Neubacher from Ramsau, who was employed at the salt works. He was the main designer of today's "Ramsaustrasse".

Named after Gisela (1856 - 1932), daughter of Emperor Franz Josef I and wife of Prince Leopold of Bavaria. She spent many summers in Bad Ischl and this view point was her favourite place to visit.
