At the mountain station, the viewing platform Welterbeblick with a fantastic view of the Dachstein. Just a few minutes' walk further on, you will reach the Heilbronn Chapel and the World Heritage Spiral. Wonderful views also await you here and invite you to linger
You want to enjoy these views - but also need a little action? Then hike to the viewing platform "5fingers"! Stand 400 metres above the abyss on the five differently designed walkways. This adrenaline rush and the unique landscape views will remain unforgettable. A photo as proof of your head for heights is of course a must.
The latest photopoint Dachstein-Hai is located directly at the family-friendly Heilbronner Rundwanderweg. The circular hiking trail takes you through the karst landscape past sinkholes and on to the Heilbronner Kreuz. This cross commemorates the Dachstein tragedy in 1954, in which 13 people lost their lives.
After another walk, you will reach the Gjaid Alm. A cosy sun terrace invites you to take a break. Take the 3rd section of the Dachstein Krippenstein cable car back to the mountain station.
