The Old Market Square is located right in the center of Bad Goisern on Lake Hallstatt.
Walk from the Catholic church into the short pedestrian zone and past the Gasthof Hotel Moserwirt. There you cross Josef Putz Straße and find the "Alter Marktplatz" after the Pizzeria Romana.

Exit Thalgau via the B158 federal highway towards Bad Ischl, in Bad Ischl take the B145 Salzkammergut road towards Bad Goisern
from Linz:
Regau highway exit onto Salzkammergut Straße B145 in the direction of Gmunden and Bad Ischl to Bad Goisern
from Vienna/Graz:
Highway exit Liezen on B320, in Trautenfels turn onto Salzkammergut Straße B145 to Bad Goisern
from Villach:
Tauernautobahn to exit "Eben im Pongau", via B166 Pass Gschütt Bundesstraße through Gosau, turn left at the Gosaumühle junction towards Bad Goisern
