Short, but very exposed via ferrata, which is less interesting as a stand-alone undertaking due to its brevity. It is recommended to combine it with the original "Leadership via ferrata" on the Predigstuhl, which can be reached via a marked hiking trail afterwards.
From the start, traverse extremely exposed on footholds (C) under overhangs to the left. Then climb vertically to slightly overhanging up the exposed wall (C/D). Cross to the right under slight overhangs (D) and up a steep upswing (D). Through a somewhat earthy gully (C) to the exit.
Depending on the snow and weather conditions, the via ferrata is accessible from May to October.
At the roundabout in Bad Goisern am Hallstättersee, take the exit for "Lasern" and continue in the direction of Berggasthof Predigstuhl. After approx. 3.5 km, turn left to the Rathlucken Hütte, where you will also find the Parking Rathlucken Hütte.
