The Zwieselalm hut (1,440m) is a rustic, cosy, approx. 300-year-old alpine hut. It is an ideal excursion destination for the whole family. Here, hikers and mountain bikers find peace and relaxation - which was already worth a visit to the Zwieselalm to the young Empress Sisi. The great view over the alpine pasture to the surrounding mountains such as the Gosaukamm and the Dachstein, let you forget the stress of everyday life. Enjoy the beautiful hours with a tasty alp snack.
Our alp can be reached either from Gosau or the Lake Gosau via well-maintained hiking trails. The third option is the ascent with the cable car "Gosaukammbahn". From the mountain station you hike comfortably to the alpine hut. The 30-minute walk takes you past magnificent flora and mountain landscapes and is definitely a worthwhile excursion.
Numerous hikes can be started directly from our hut. The Via ferrata Donnerkogel can also be reached from us. You are welcome to climb the via ferrata with a guide. Please contact Laserer Alpin or Outdoor Leadership directly.
Our hut is closed in winter, but you are welcome to book a holiday in our Guesthouse Jäger
We are looking forward to your visit!
