Our farmhouse is situated in a calm position. In winter, the skiregion Dachstein West is reachable by foot and also the cross country ski trails are near the house.In summer, the house is the perfect starting point for hiking and mountainbiking tours.

Motorway exit Golling - Abtenau, Russbach, Gosau.
Gosau: after the Pass Gschütt crossing turn right onto the Gosausee Landstraße, approx. 4 km after the Cafe zum Schmez turn left into Schäffergasse. The house is about 150m down the road on the right-hand side.
from Linz:
Motorway exit Regau - Gmunden, Bad Ischl, Bad Goisern, Gosau.
Gosau: at the Pass Gschütt junction drive straight ahead onto the Gosausee Landstraße, after approx. 4 km turn left after the Cafe zum Schmez into Schäffergasse. The house is about 150m down the road on the right-hand side.
from Vienna/Graz:
Motorway exit Liezen on the B320, in Trautenfels turn on Salzkammergut street B145 to Bad Aussee, turn on Koppen street through Obertraun and Hallstatt, at the Gosaumühle junction turn left towards Gosau

from Villach:
Tauern motorway to exit “Eben im Pongau”, via the B166 Pass Gschütt federal road to Gosau

Arrival by train in "Steeg / Gosau" then continue with bus 541/542 in the direction Gosausee
By bus (irregularly on Sundays):
Bus 470 (Abtenau - Gosau) direction Gosau, stop Gosau Abzw. Pass Gschütt,
change to the bus in the direction of Lake Gosau, get off at the stop "Mittertal b. Gosau Ort", after the Cafe zum Schmez turn left into Schäffergasse. Th house is on the right after approx. after approx. 150 m on the right-hand side.
Bus 541/542 (Bad Ischl - Gosausee) direction Gosausee, stops Haltestelle: Gosau Klaushof, Gosau Bärnausiedlung, Gosau Ressenbachweg, Gosau Vordertal B166, Gosau Ramsau B166, Gosau, Gemeindeamt, Abzw. Pass Gschütt, Gosau Wirtsweg, Gosau Leitenweg, Gosau Schüttmannweg, Mittertal b. Gosau Ort,
