Our house is situated in the middle of the beautiful Gosau valley. The central location of the holiday flat allows our guests to largely do without the car. Within 5 minutes you can reach the skiing area Dachstein West, with more than 100 km of perfectly groomed slopes. With the bus stop approx. 130 m from the flat - the surrounding world heritage towns of Bad Goisern, Hallstatt and Obertraun with their sights can be toured stress-free.

Hiking possibilities from easy to difficult, a family skiing area and lots of interesting activities are waiting for you.

The Elisabeth Gamsjäger holiday flat offers ideal accommodation for families, athletes, smaller travel groups and friends of mountain sports. All rooms are spacious and with a breakfast in our breakfast room you can strengthen yourself in peace for the day ahead. A spacious and fully equipped ski cellar and drying room is accessible via an outside entrance as well as inside access. This room can also be used during the summer months to lock up bicycles or similar.

We are happy to organise a sleigh ride where it can be enjoyed in peace through the wildly romantic snow-covered Gosau valley away from the hustle and bustle. A carport by the courtyard entrance offers enough space for 10 cars and can be used free of charge.

from Linz:
Motorway exit Regau - Gmunden, Bad Ischl, Bad Goisern, Gosau
Gosau: at the Pass Gschütt junction drive straight ahead onto the Gosausee Landstraße, after approx. 2 km you will reach the Hotel Sommerhof, turn right after the hotel. After approx. 400m turn right again. The holiday flat is on the right side.

from Vienna/Graz:
Motorway exit Liezen on the B320, in Trautenfels turn on Salzkammergut street B145 to Bad Aussee, turn on Koppen street through Obertraun and Hallstatt, at the Gosaumühle junction turn left towards Gosau

Tauern motorway to exit “Eben im Pongau”, via the B166 Pass Gschütt federal road to Gosau

Bus 470 (Abtenau - Gosau) direction Gosau, stop Gosau Abzw. Pass Gschütt
change to the bus direction Lake Gosau (Gosausee), get off at the stop "Mittertal b. Gosau Ort" and after the Hotel Sommerhof turn right up to Schüttangerstraße. After approx. 400m turn right again. The holiday flat is on the right -hand side.
