Torch light tour through Hallstatt

In the World Heritage Site of Hallstatt, the 7,500-year history of this salt-mining town is still very much alive. On a tour through the historic town center, you’ll hear many fascinating stories during our torchlight hike!

From December 15, 2027, through December 29, 2027, every Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. (maximum group size: 15 people), one of our Austria Guides will take you on an entertaining and exciting journey through the history of the World Heritage site of Hallstatt.

The hike takes you into the special atmosphere of the evening hours. The warm light of the torches, the silence of the night, and the moon and stars make the tour an unforgettable experience. This guided tour is a wonderful way—especially for families—to get to know Hallstatt in a very special way.
